So let me tell you a little about it - you get 6 different colors muffin molds, 4 mini muffin silicone molds per color so a total of 24 - 2 dozen. This is made from a food grade silicone, BPA free that you can use in the microwave, freezer, oven, and when you are finished with it - put it in the dishwasher to clean it.
I have to say I have tried other silicone molds and I wasn't really impressed with them - but not the case with these. I used a ice cream scoop per muffin - they stood on the bread pan and didn't tip over, awesome! And to get my muffin out all I did was popped it out - I did two videos one where I am actually putting the muffin mix in it - and then popping them out!
(My other set wasn't that easy). :)
This is 100% food grade silicone, BPA free, FDA approved, non-toxic, flexible, reusable and durable!
The size - I would say that I got two good bites out of my muffin. I was trying to find a mix to make minature cheesecakes but didn't see it at the store. If you are making something that is a bit rich, this would be the size you would want - you could probably make your own reese's pieces - since you can use it for multiple projects. Simply melt your chocolate and use a brush and put the chocolate in there. Freeze it - then take it out - put what goody you want inside - peanut butter, peanut butter chips, whatever you can dream up - then put some more chocolate over top and freeze again!
And you can use them for so many projects - classic cupcakes, muffins, mini chocolates, truffles, pastries, pudding, ice cube..but also suitable for crafts: soaps, crayons, sidewalk chalks, bath bombs, candles and more. the only thing is - is that if you are going to use them for crafts you might not want to cook out of them even after you washed them - because who knows what kind of chemical is left in there. I would be very cautious - but if you see that you like them go ahead and buy a new set for your crafting :)
Just be warned that when you take it out of the oven initially it will be very HOT - so let it cool down before you take your baked goody out! I burned myself on the first set I made.
#ad #honestlyreviewed #receivedforfreeordiscountforareview as you notice i used plain paper cupcake holders at the end (well the muffin mix was so good) but it didn't work out :) So Miren Next time!
